The Upper Vandalia Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedictated to preserving the history of Putnam County, West Virginia - it's towns and it's people.

 

From publishing books put together by volunteers to sponsoring history contests in our local schools, we are Putnam County, West Virginia's historical society.

 

The UVHS also suports other historical interests in the county such as historical preservation, military re-enactments, heritage celebrations,  genealogical research and educational materials.
